ABOUT OUR JUDGES:
Leni Zumas is the author of the story collection Farewell Navigator and the novel The Listeners, which was a finalist for the Oregon Book Award. She teaches in the MFA Program in Creative Writing at Portland State University.
Marcus Jackson was born in Toledo, Ohio. His poems have appeared in The American Poetry Review, Harvard Review, The New Yorker, and elsewhere. His chapbook, Rundown, was published in 2009. His debut full-length collection, Neighborhood Register, was released in 2011. Marcus lives with his wife and son in Columbus, Ohio.

Jay Nebel’s poems have appeared in American Poetry Review, Narrative, Ploughshares, Tin House and other journals. His forthcoming debut collection of poems, Neighbors, won the 2014 Saturnalia Books Poetry Prize. He lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife and two children, and drives a juice truck for a living.
